make it green
Right from the get-go Ironstone was designed to be green. Not only to help reduce the building’s carbon footprint, but also to create everyday energy efficiency for everyone.
Green also means being creative. Where possible within the building we’ll provide green roofs creating not only a viable eco-feature but also a welcome spot of landscaping. Other green features that will lower the overall eco-impact of the building include: renewable energy generated by geo-thermal heat backed up by our auxiliary solar elements; water conservation enabled by low-flow faucets and toilets.
To make recycling efficient, we’ve also provided a recycling room where it can be sorted. Green lifestyles will also be supported through the provision of secure bicycle parking.
Our green policy starts before you move in: during construction priority will also be given to building materials containing recycled content while construction waste management procedures will be implemented to lessen waste.
